Round One of this Grand Slam tournament will kick off at Torrey Pines in San Diego, Calif. Former champions will be competing again, including Brooks Koepka, Gary Woodland and last year’s winner, Bryson DeChambeau. Each round will be broadcast on NBC this Father’s Day weekend, culminating with Round Four, which will air on Sunday at 12 p.m. In this spy thriller directed by Alfred Hitchcock, Robert Cummings plays Barry Kane, a man who has been falsely accused of sabotage and goes to great lengths to prove his innocence.
There is currently no confirmation as to whether there will be a second season. Despite picking a partner on The Celebrity Dating Game, Lawrence recently revealed he’s become engaged to actress Samantha Cope, whom he met on the set of the Lifetime movie A Deadly Deed. If you think you’re going to get some clues to Gabriel’s dating life through social media, you are sorely mistaken. His Instagram is more of a testament to his career and a tribute to his fans than an online chronicle of his dating life. He does regularly post throwback photos of a younger Fluffy and an occasional family picture, but for the most part, Gabriel’s private life is pretty off the books. In a weekly segment of the show, Bolton sang a classic song with the lyrics changed to give the three contestants clues as to what celebrity they’re talking to. He reworked “What the World Needs Now is Love” but none of the women could guess that it was Gould on the other side of the screen.
He seemed impressed with the fact that she’d hook up on the first date, and if he were an iceberg, she’d make him melt by staring into his eyes. During a regular segment, Bolton serenades the studio with a classic song with the lyrics changed to reflect the celebrity. This is done to give the contestants clues as to who their mystery celebrity interrogator is.
For the bachelorette from The Bachelorette, for instance, he sings a rewritten version of Cher’s I Found Someone. “She’s from Tuscaloosa / She was on The Bachelorette.” Meanwhile, for Azalea, he sings a version of Fleetwood Mac’s Don’t Stop updated to mention that she’s an Australian rapper. “Five Grammy noms / Five Grammy noms,” he adds at the end to be sure.
The lyric changes included, “Don’t Stop, thinkin’ about Australia” and replacing “yesterday’s gone” with “she’s fancy and blonde.” In the latest episode it was the turn of Modern Family’s Nolan Gould and comedian Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias. They each had three mystery women to choose from while hosts Zooey Deschanel and Michael Bolton marshaled proceedings.
Comedian Nicole Byer, on the other hand, chose IT recruiter Nate Shanklin, but the two of them don’t seem to be in communication. There’s no way of knowing what happened after The Celebrity Dating Game for Hannah and Nicole, but it seems they didn’t find love. In Nicole’s round, Bachelor #1 said that love was like “taking a dump,” while Bachelor #2 answers a question by saying “if you’re not cheating, you’re not trying.” Bolton’s clue song mentionsNailed It! AndGirl Code, two of Byer’s best-known shows, but none of the men have any idea who she is. One guesses “Sarah Silverman”, and another says “Taylor Tomlinson.” When they come out during the big reveal, we’re still not sure if they recognized her.
